Last Winooski River Bike Ferry

While the ferry was replaced in 2004 with a trail bridge, we will always remember the wonderful days of crossing the mouth of the Winooski River and Delta Park.  The ferry at this location ignited the energy and enthusiasm for reconnecting this old railroad corridor into a spectacular regional trail.

Thank you especially to the Auer Family Boat House, the City of Burlington, the Town of Colchester, the VT Agency of Transportation and the Winooski Valley Park District.  Without these supportive partners, the ferry would not have operated.
